Keeper
Notes that stay Markdown files on your own computer.
Keeper is a notes app for macOS and Linux. Your pages are plain Markdown files in a folder you pick, so any other tool can read them. It works offline and needs no account.
- Blocks inside a page: tables, callouts, math, charts, diagrams, bookmarks and embeds.
- Databases made of pages: each row is a page with properties, shown as a table, board, list, gallery or calendar.
- Links between pages, with backlinks, a graph and fast search.
- AI that reads and edits your pages, with your own key for the provider you choose or a model on your computer.
Keeper Cloud
An optional subscription for working with other people. Cloud projects are stored on our server in the EU and sync while you type, with everyone’s cursors. Invite people by email as editors or viewers. Keeper AI is included with a monthly allowance, so you don’t need a key of your own.
Keeper Cloud works inside the desktop app; there is no web editor.
